Odisha police have declared Nabarangpur district free from Maoist influence following the surrender of nine active cadres in Chhattisgarh. This significant achievement aligns with the Centre’s goal of eliminating Left-wing extremism nationwide. Maoist presence in Odisha is now confined to pockets in seven districts.
