The CPI(ML) boycotted the Election Commission’s Voter Rights Day, holding their own event to protest alleged mass deletion of voters’ names, particularly the poor, Dalits, minorities, and migrant workers, during revision drives. The party claims around 70 lakh voters were removed in Bihar alone before last year’s polls, calling the EC’s observance a ‘sham’ and ‘show-off’.
