Rani Mukerji lauded Malayalam film ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ as brilliant and one of the greatest Indian films recently. She conveyed her admiration through actor Prithviraj Sukumaran to director Jeo Baby, who drew inspiration from his own experiences in the kitchen. The film powerfully depicts women’s unnoticed domestic labor and societal judgment.
