The BJP and Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena have appointed their respective party leaders in the BMC, with Ganesh Khankar and Amey Ghole taking charge. Both parties will register separately at Konkan Bhavan, and the next Mumbai mayor will be selected from the 118 Mahayuti corporators.
