Nashik is gearing up for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela with an extensive health plan. Sixty-four tent clinics, including 51 OPD units for general ailments and 13 ICU facilities near ghats, will be established. A 100-bed hospital and an upgraded Indira Gandhi Hospital will further bolster medical capacity for the expected 5 crore devotees.
