San Jose State volleyball player Blaire Fleming has denied causing her former teammate Brooke Slusser’s eating disorder, stating Slusser had pre-existing issues with food. Slusser claims the stress of Fleming’s transgender status intensified her struggles, leading to anorexia and a stopped menstrual cycle. Lawsuits have been filed against the NCAA and Mountain West Conference.
