At the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina, Chinese skier Sheng Haipeng dropped his mobile phone midair during the men’s freeski halfpipe qualification at Livigno Snow Park. TNT Sports commentator James Webb reacted live as replays showed the phone falling into the snow. Sheng finished 20th and did not qualify for the final.
