Odisha is launching a first-of-its-kind initiative to digitally document 4,000 heritage monuments and sites, along with their associated intangible cultural expressions. This comprehensive project will integrate architectural, historical, cultural, and geographical data, with a focus on geo-referencing and developing conservation proposals for 75 priority sites.
