A 27-year-old woman was duped of Rs 1.20 lakh and gold jewellery by an unidentified man she met on a matrimonial app. The accused, who posed as a paramilitary jawan, fabricated a story about a transfer and injury to extort money. He later failed to repay the loan and disappeared after taking her gold chain.
