Odisha vigilance seized a record Rs 4.27 crore in cash from the residence of deputy director of mines, Debabrata Mohanty, following his arrest for allegedly accepting a bribe. The Enforcement Directorate and income tax authorities are now expected to launch parallel investigations into the alleged ill-gotten wealth and potential black money networks.
