A man, Mohd Imran, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his live-in partner, Diksha Mishra, in Nainital in August 2021. He allegedly concealed his religion and used a false name to befriend Mishra. The victim’s teenage daughter’s statement was pivotal in the case. Imran was apprehended in Ghaziabad.
