Former athlete Ashwini Nachappa and her husband Datha Karaumbiah established a new artificial hockey turf in Kodagu to revive the region’s hockey legacy. This Rs. 5 crore facility, built by the Ashwini Sports Foundation, aims to develop grassroots talent and inspire young players by providing access to state-of-the-art infrastructure.
