Google has sued data scraping firm SerpApi in California, accusing it of illegally harvesting and reselling copyrighted search content by bypassing security measures. The lawsuit claims SerpApi uses millions of fake requests and “shady back doors” to mimic human behavior and evade detection. This action follows a similar lawsuit filed by Reddit against SerpApi.
