Bill Guerin rejected claims that Adam Fox missed the Olympic team because of Connor McDavid’s overtime goal. Guerin said the decision was never about one play. Fox accepted the choice after speaking with Guerin. Despite strong support from New York Rangers staff, deep U.S. defense depth kept Fox off the roster.
