Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his condolence message on the passing of former PM Khaleda Zia. The BNP acknowledged Zia’s contributions to India-Bangladesh relations. India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar represented the country at Zia’s funeral.
