Chhattisgarh Congress accused the BJP government of patronizing hooliganism after men arrested for vandalizing Christmas decorations at a Raipur mall were released on bail and received a hero’s welcome. The party alleged that the public celebration of the accused exposed official backing for mob violence, bringing shame to the state.
