A suspected gas pipeline leak during maintenance at an ONGC oil well in Andhra Pradesh’s Konaseema district caused a massive fire and explosion. The incident, which occurred during production enhancement operations, led to the evacuation of approximately 300 families from nearby villages. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
