John Edward Jones, a medical student, died trapped upside down in Utah’s Nutty Putty Cave in 2009. Rescuers attempted to free him for hours, but a system failure sent him deeper into the crevice. Due to the extreme danger, his body was left entombed as the cave was permanently sealed.
