A Karnataka businessman was lured to Thane with investment promises, only to be held captive and robbed of over Rs 2 crore at gunpoint. Police arrested the main accused, Ankit Bapu Thombre, after he used the victim’s net banking details for unauthorized transactions. The investigation is ongoing to apprehend accomplices.
