Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu stated that London authorities placed him under special surveillance during a visit, fearing he would demand the return of the Kohinoor diamond. He asserted that the diamond, originating from the Krishna district, remains an inherent property and heritage treasure of Andhra Pradesh, regardless of its current location.
