Khunti police apprehended seven individuals for the murder of tribal village head Soma Munda in Jamuwadaag village. The motive stemmed from a dispute over a pathalgadi stone, which the accused had attempted to remove. Munda’s subsequent re-establishment of the stone during a gram sabha angered the accused, leading to the fatal plot.
