A Delhi court has sentenced a 37-year-old man to life imprisonment for repeatedly raping his 11-year-old daughter. The judge stated the man “shamefully shattered the most sacred relation of humanity.” The victim was also awarded Rs 10.5 lakh in compensation for her ongoing trauma.
