Actor-politician Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has secured the whistle symbol for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. The party had submitted ten symbol choices to the Election Commission of India, with the whistle being their preferred option due to its association with Vijay’s film ‘Bigil’ and its campaign potential.
