Calcutta High Court has cancelled leaves for district judges to tackle 45 lakh disputed SIR cases by March 9. Around 173 judges will work under CCTV surveillance, with most deployed in high-pendency districts. This move follows a Supreme Court directive, aiming to expedite the resolution of discrepancies flagged by micro-observers.
