In a recent address, Chief Justice of India, Justice Surya Kant, acknowledged that while the establishment of a new Rs 1,705 crore judicial complex in Guwahati marks a significant stride in upgrading our court system, it’s only part of the solution to the persistent issue of case backlogs.
