Shiv Sena MLA Bharat Gogawale’s son, Vikas, has surrendered to the Bombay High Court following a directive from the court. Vikas and his cousin Mahesh were accused in violence during local elections. The court had previously expressed displeasure over the state’s failure to arrest Vikas, emphasizing the rule of law. Another accused’s anticipatory bail plea was dismissed.
