Gaya Civil Surgeon Raja Ram Prasad has rejected allegations that health workers violated protocols while giving anti-filarial tablets to schoolchildren. Earlier reports suggested several students became ill after taking the drugs without food. Prasad acknowledged that a small number of children reported minor uneasiness, but attributed this to normal individual reactions rather than guideline lapses.
