Toronto Maple Leafs coach Craig Berube voiced strong displeasure over Bobby McMann’s one-game suspension for high-sticking. Berube highlighted the lack of penalty for Tampa Bay’s Gage Goncalves, whose knee-on-knee hit injured Maple Leafs defenceman Dakota Mermis. Fans also expressed anger, accusing the NHL’s Department of Player Safety of bias. McMann will miss an upcoming game.
