Delhi experienced its first significant rain spell of January on Vasant Panchami, bringing much-needed relief from dry weather and poor air quality. Light showers, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, were attributed to a western disturbance. While this precipitation won’t erase the seasonal deficit, it temporarily improved visibility and surface moisture, with more rain possible later in the day.
