A six-year-old girl, Shifa, was allegedly beaten to death by her stepmother, Nisha, in Ghaziabad after being locked in a room. The child’s father, Akram, and Nisha have been detained. Shifa’s siblings reported prior abuse, with injuries also found on her younger brother. The victim’s maternal family has been notified.
