Police seized approximately Rs 50 lakh in cash from an abandoned autorickshaw in Ulhasnagar shortly after campaigning concluded. An independent candidate alleged the money was intended to bribe voters. Authorities detained the driver and are investigating the cash’s origin and any connections after the occupants fled.
