Man lives after rod pierces neck, narrowly misses brain and spine in Gurgaon; no neurological deficits

A multidisciplinary medical team successfully removed a metal rod from a patient’s neck after a fall at a construction site. The rod, which had pierced the neck laterally at an angle, passed dangerously close to vital structures.
