Moment passer-by falls into frozen lake trying to rescue man who plunged into icy water attempting to save dog – as Storm Goretti is expected to bring more snow, rain and gales

The man was attempting to rescue the animal after it walked onto the ice at Connaught Water in Epping Forest, Essex – but he fell in, and a passer-by then entered the water to help.
