Expert teams from ONGC are en route from Mumbai and Delhi to combat a gas well fire in Andhra Pradesh’s Dr BR Ambedkar Konaseema district. The blaze, which began on January 5 after a gas leak at the Mori-5 well, has weakened but remains uncontrolled. Firefighters are cooling the area while awaiting the experts’ assessment to extinguish the flames.
