Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla received the Ashok Chakra. He earned this award for his bravery during the Axiom Mission 4 to the International Space Station. Shukla piloted the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft. He became the first Indian on the ISS since 1984. His mission involved complex operations in microgravity. This honour recognizes his courage in pushing human limits in space.
