BJP MLA Sanjay Kelkar has demanded a white paper from Thane Municipal Corporation on its property department, citing alleged irregularities in leasing and misuse of civic assets. He also highlighted issues concerning contract workers’ wages, pending heirship transfers, the stalled Colour Museum project, and the delayed compensation for a tree-fall victim’s family. Strict hawker policy enforcement was also urged.
