Kevaughn Goldson, a 21-year-old Lincoln University student, died after being stabbed early Monday near campus in Jefferson City. Police arrested his girlfriend, Denita Jackson, a track athlete, who faces a first-degree murder charge. Jackson told authorities she acted during a physical altercation after finding Goldson in her roommate’s room. The investigation remains ongoing as the university community mourns.
