In a powerful expression of solidarity, members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad gathered at the Tripura border to voice their outrage over the reported mistreatment of Hindus in Bangladesh. Demonstrators called for a complete boycott of Bangladeshi goods and presented a formal petition, demanding that trade be suspended until the violence comes to an end.
