Senior IAS officer Vinay Choubey’s bail plea has been rejected by the Hazaribag Special ACB court. Choubey, already implicated in the liquor scam, faces charges in the forest land scam that allegedly occurred during his deputy commissioner tenure. The ACB has named 73 individuals, including Choubey’s associates and a local MLA, in the forest land scam FIR.
