Police apprehended a notorious criminal, Prahlad Kumar, in Patna after a shootout in Dharampur village. Prahlad, wanted in a murder case, opened fire on officers but was shot in the leg and arrested. Recovered from the encounter site were a country-made gun and cartridges. Prahlad faces multiple criminal charges.
