Director Rajiv Menon revealed that several leading actors refused to play a one-legged character in ‘Kandukondain Kandukondain’. Mammootty, however, readily accepted the challenging role of Major Bala, a war veteran struggling with alcoholism. Menon also shared a humorous anecdote about Mammootty’s on-set habit of leaning to one side, which sometimes led to confusion.
