A saffron-clad seer, nicknamed ‘Google Golden Baba’, has become a visual spectacle at the Magh Mela in Prayagraj, adorned in gold jewelry valued at nearly ₹5 crore. The Kanpur-based ascetic, Manoj Anand Maharaj, attributes his opulent display to inherited values and spiritual conviction, carrying a miniature gold idol of Laddu Gopal as his spiritual armor.
