Kamila Sellier suffered a deep facial cut after Kristen Santos Griswold’s skate blade struck her during a Winter Olympics short track quarter final. The French skater slid into the wall and was taken to hospital for X rays but stayed conscious. Arianna Fontana was also knocked down, returned for the re run, and finished second behind Dohee Noh.
