Bengal Tigers edged out SG Pipers 7-6 in a thrilling penalty shootout to reach the Women’s Hockey India League final. Despite a strong performance from Pipers’ Indian contingent and goalkeeper Bansari Solanki, the Tigers secured their spot against the same opponents on Saturday. The win also eliminated Ranchi Royals.
